Notably, Dr. Chen served as the General Counsel of a global biotechnology startup, where he played a critical role in building the company’s legal function from the ground up. He led key initiatives across early-stage financing, strategic partnerships, intellectual property, and international compliance—providing strategic legal guidance during the company’s formative and high-growth phases.
His experience uniquely positions him at the intersection of innovation, regulation, and business execution. Dr. Chen holds both a PhD in Biology and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law.
